Demon’s Souls Visceral Action or Blood and Guts Trailer

First thing people need to know: Demon’s Souls is difficult as a motherfucker. It’s like the 8-bit games back in the day that didn’t care about gamer’s feelings or well-being.

That in mind, Demon’s Souls is outright one of the best games released for this console generation and one of finest for the PlayStation 3. Being an exclusive along with the new PS3 Slim, Demon’s Souls could be a nice bundle seller for Sony.

The new Visceral Action trailer is all about in-game cinematics, combat, and atmospheric exploration.

Demon’s Souls for PlayStation 3 system is scheduled for North American release on October 6, 2009. The Standard Edition will retail at $59.99, and the Deluxe Edition, which includes a 160-page strategy guide and collectible slipcase, will retail at $69.99.

Fans who pre-order at select North American retailers will receive a 40-page, full-color art book and a music CD featuring the game’s full soundtrack (secured on the inside back cover of the art book). The disc, which offers 24 tracks totaling 71 minutes from the game’s haunting orchestral score, represents the complete Demon’s Souls soundtrack, available for the first time as part of this exclusive North American promotion.
