I found Ellegarden through Asian Kung-Fu Generation’s Nano Mugen compilation release some years back. Since then, I found all their music and it remains some of my favorite. Ellegarden could be considered a punk band or a rock band, but since September 2008, they have been on indefinite hiatus. With each member in new bands, there’s not much hope right now of a reunion, but they made some of the best music I heard and it has been very influential to me.
