Beat Crusaders – Let Go Review

2j35d9gBeat Crusaders have been one of my favorite bands for a long time. Since I found out about them when they performed the intro to the anime Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad and then performed the seminal single for that series, “Moon on the Water,” finding everything related to Beat Crusaders is a daily challenge.

Let Go is a two song single released, including tracks “Let Go” and “Life in the Nation.”

Granted there is nothing new with the sound of Let Go other than the continuation of the consistent Rock and Punk style with the keyboard/synth backgrounds. But when considering Beat Crusaders, a drastic change in the sound wouldn’t help the band grow as musicians, rather it would alienate a lot of fans.

If you’re a fan of the band, then the recognizable sound of the band is still present and going strong. For those who are not familiar with the band would do well to find their most recent best of album, Very Best Crusaders, to hear the great music created by the band.

Let Go was released 09/29/09.
