So have you actually considered making a group like this reality?
If so, I really want to know how you will manage to do that because I want to do something similar to this.

Nope, I had to look that up. I don't follow either of those groups sadly. It's an okay song.

I was really disappointed that T-ara decided to go with the skanktastic vs. the cute/clean image. I have the Brown Eyed Girls 2nd jib, and their image went totally 360 as you mentioned. I was really disappointed by that too, but oh well. Sex and latex sells.
Miryo is essential, b/c all the female rappers who do the breakdowns in kpop now are just imitating her style.

Groups like HAM, Secret, f(x) and JQT don't really stand a chance in my eyes because they lack anything interesting and their songs suck.

True, odd numbers are almost always better for marketing.

I hope one day your punk/indie girl group becomes a reality. It would be nice to have the male equivalent of such a group.

I think a lot of the time why we don't get any good cross-pollination in terms of pop music, is not just unwillingness of record companies, but also unwillingness of indie parties and pop parties to meet together. Most idol groups are made up of 2-dimensional people with little brains, and indie groups are usually made up of pretentious closed-minded snobs.

K-pop did make conscious efforts to fuse other genre elements in with idol-pop back in '05ish with songs like Tri-angle, and Rising Sun (the ladder being an excellent success) but beyond that I have seen little effort.
