Morning Bond’s Virus-X was, I think, one of the first ten albums I ever found. It’s a really interesting album because it is a hardcore album with female vocals and screaming. It really reminds me of the Canadian band Kittie.
Virus-X is a little difficult to respond to because the style of the band was the most different music I had ever heard. Before I heard the album, I grew out of my screamo/hardcore phase of music, and then hearing this album made me think of their American counterparts.
The album is good for the type of music that Morning Bond is playing, but will polarize listeners because it’s neither light or particularly melodic. Hardcore fans should listen to this album though.
