Bremen – Bianco Blanco Review

51ptveCvMbLElectro-pop is an interesting genre. There really aren’t any guidelines to how the genre is classified, so calling Bremen could be incorrect.

They do have a synth-backed instrumentation along with female vocals and repeating chorus lines, but the music doesn’t sound like it’s trying to be more than what it is: upbeat electronica.

I can imagine the music of Bianco Blanco being a theme for an anime or even movie, some songs remind me of the Trainspotting soundtrack.

Bremen’s album is good because it is almost electronica-lite, meaning there is a dedicated effort in the lyrics and the music, rather than pumping bass and overloading the senses with too much sound.

It’s something to try, but like much from Japan, it might not agree with your ears.
