Love & Pop follow the female, synth-light, rock music theme. The album is sounds light, even with the tracks that have a rock-base background instrumental to them.

Most tracks have that indie-jazz feel and in some cases sound apprehensive. Love & Pop is another background album, something that can be forgotten is being played in the background and that’s what makes it a little weak.

The mix of the electronica and attempted rock don’t mix well and cause the album to stray from focusing on the strength of the band.

Indie-jazz music is inherently weak because the tone of the music is so subdued and that’s what holds this self-titled release back.
