Camvas – キミマチスカイ Review
Camvas sounds very much like a lot of electro-pop bands and musicians of Japan. The washed synth behind Pro-Tools is very apparent on キミマチスカイ.
But even with the copy/paste aspect of Camvas’ EP, the release is still a good listen, when taken in perspective of the genre. The songs on キミマチスカイ are a little different from other electro-pop albums, dealing out somewhat more aggressive beats, but still keeping the innocence of the music as a whole.
Over the five tracks, the release stays entrenched in the safety zone and doesn’t attempt to deliver anything different. So in effect, キミマチスカイ continues the trend of the genre without evolving or changing it, just adding another release to the queue.
