I really enjoyed listening to this EP. 에이첼 인 어 스토리 is a straight-forward rock band that doesn’t use a lot of frills in their music. In that way, the band sounds fresh even through they play simple music. But in that way, the more simple it is, it’s easier to appreciate all the work that goes into it.

The choruses are sweeping and long note holds, but it’s an interesting change from other rock music in Korea. I do think that 에이첼 인 어 스토리 have tons of talent because they’re playing a form of rock that isn’t common to me from Korea, but more of the ballad rock that was popular in the United States (though much less cock-rock than it was here).

The sound of the music is almost on the precursor to rap-rock or could even be compared a bit to Linkin Park, though take that as you will.

It’s a good EP and worth listening to.
