Bluedawn – When Spring Comes Review

when spring comesWhen Spring Comes, from what I know, is the last album of Bluedawn before the members went their separate ways into The Invisible Fish and 한희정’s solo work. This album is among Korean indie’s best gems with straight-up beautiful music. The variety of the music foreshadows the pairs’ future work and it’s apparent that it was time for the duo to part ways.

There isn’t a track that doesn’t impress on the album, with 한희정’s vocals accented by the instrumentals in the background. When Spring Comes is the swansong for Bluedawn and it contains some of the most memorable songs like “Tabula Rasa,” which is my favorite track on the album.

Any indie enthusiast needs to listen through the album and find of the the turning points for Korean indie.

Yup, this would be the last Bluedawn album. I love Tabula Rasa! A very nice thing about it is that you can play it on repeat and the end goes so well with the beginning you barely notice that the song starts over again. I’ve spent hours listening to nothing but that song.
