Hangry & Angry – Kill Me Kiss Me Review

hangryFor former members of the biggest Jpop girl group, the formation of Hangry & Angry as a marketing tool, but releasing, music is a smart marketing tool. That’s because people will buy the music because of the members and in turn by the clothes they’re pushing.

In regards to the music, that is even more surprising because it is Jpop Goth Rock that still contains the catchy hooks and upbeat vocals, but now placed over synth and distorted guitar. This mini-album is fun, but it’s a guilty pleasure because it’s difficult to take really seriously.

The five songs on the mini-album have more variety than the songs that the pair originally sang, and the mixture of rock, pop, and Goth is a fun, yet disposable listen.

#1 janet :

I like their name because my dad pronounces the word ‘hungry’ as ‘hangry’.
