Meg – Step Review

stepMeg goes through a lot of different genres with her releases, though the basis is always a Japanese electro-pop tone. The difference is usually through the beats and melodies of the songs depending on the album.

Step is one of the poppier albums in her catalog toeing the line between Jpop and an anime soundtrack. On the same line, Step is also a club-friendly album with the pulsing beats keeping the songs moving at a brisk pace. It’s a upbeat album and one of the “happier” albums of hers.

Among her releases, Step is the one that is most radio-friendly, though I’m not sure how big her presence in the Jpop scene is. The album is a good background album that is another solid part of her overall discography.
