Spangle Call Lilli Line – For Installation Review

for installationSpangle Call Lilli Line’s 2005 mini-album For Installation is a continuation of their recognizable indie sound. The songs range from a little more pop friendly tracks to a mixture of indie and math-rock elements. The release still contains a lot of energy even on the slightly slower tracks.

I would suggest this is a place to start for someone who is interested in Spangle Call Lilli Line, their other albums Isolation or Nanae are better introductions.

I did enjoy the album, but it does have a lot of directions that it goes to and there isn’t a true cohesive structure to the mini-album, but it’s still better than a lot of other stuff out there.

And make sure you listen to track seven.
