A lot of Kpop groups are branching out and re-releasing albums in other countries in Asia. Korea has had a lot of groups debut again in Japan and 4Minute are among that group. The mini-album really only has one track dedicated to the Japanese market, which is a re-recorded Japanese language version of “Muzik.”

It’s pretty obvious that the group is uneasy with the Japanese language because the overall energy of the re-recorded track is much more subdued than their loud-as-hell original Korean version. I’m not too sure of the Jpop market right now, but 4Minute is probably different enough to make an impact of some sort.

With BoA and Se7en who have been in Japanese market for sometime and other Korean artists branching out all over Asia, Korean could become the source of pop music that overshadows all the other countries. But 4Minute do successfully do this with “Muzik.”
