I’ve been listening to FreeTEMPO for a couple years now through their albums and EPs, but Life is the first release that I heard around the time that it was released.

Through unlike the previous releases, the album is less about instrumentals and has a lot of guest vocalists. That doesn’t make it worse than their other albums, but I felt like that FreeTEMPO did their best work without the use of vocals. Life is also a much lighter album that the previous ones and does drag a bit during the middle of the album.

The album is a little bit too passive for me, though it’s still a good release in their catalog.
