Julia Hart return to 2010 with this EP, “B.” A light rock album, it is almost too passive with a 1950′s “do-wop” feel. The seven songs are accompanied by either male or female vocals along with duets during verses of some songs.
A very standard sounding indie rock vibe, B isn’t spectacular, but it does maintain the sound and style of the band. The sound is perfected in the performance of the songs, but don’t expect any surprises.
While many might consistently enjoy the style of Julia Hart, the consistency of the band might also be a burden because there’s nothing new.
