Surprisingly, I came across this group through YouTube and a random related video before I found their EP. I thought that they would be another made-for-profit girl group.
But when I watched the MV, I started thinking that the three girls who played instruments were a legit group of musicians. The first hint was watching the drummer who plays with a specific laid-back nature of someone who knows how to play, especially when the song isn’t that difficult.
The EP itself is four songs of pop rock tracks that are well constructed and don’t rely on overly pop fundamentals. They could sit next to a lot of other rock groups, if their name wasn’t so bad. The song “Ps. Love Is” is a good slower ballad track that doesn’t lag and reminds me a bit of Loveholic.
Unfortunately, Story Seller meet No Brain’s annoying mainstream sound with “Ole” which sounds like it was made specifically for pop fans, even though “Super Girl” is the first single. Rounding out the EP are English language versions of “Super Girl” and “Aio.” The English pronunciation is good and understandable so I’m curious about their backgrounds.
It’s an interesting EP and I’m more curious to know what else they will release and how their sound might change.
i hope my cousin in laws band gets famous~ seeing how hard they worked when i was in korea, i hope their work pays off^^
I knew them by the name Bloody Cookie. I like their music. I Haven’t heard any song since they changed their band’s name though.

I ran into this group via Indieful and liked what I heard as well–a little digging shows that this quartet also has a previous single and then before, they went by the name Bloody Cookie and played harder more metal-ey music.
I have a bit of a weakness for girl bands that rock, so Storyseller is right up my alley.
