木村カエラ – Ring a Ding Dong Review

Ring a Ding Dong

木村カエラ’s album is another mix of Japanese pop standards along with some more rock themes. It is more of a standard-type of pop release for Japan with pseudo-rock songs surrounded by ballads. Unfortunately, it doesn’t contain a consistent energy with the songs and does become a bit too complacent.

She is a good singer, unlike some other Jpop acts, but it’s not impressive beyond the Jpop genre. The album is one new single and eight live tracks, a new kind of packaging for a single. The live tracks are good, but it’s still too older Jpop.
