Containing the drummer from Ellegarden, Scars Borough is a much more pop rock, and almost ska style. Much more upbeat and containing a female vocalist, which changes the feeling of the songs, it’s a great Summer album that shouldn’t be passed.
Among the other post-Ellegarden groups, this one has the most upbeat energy. Even with the demise of the seminal punk rock group, Scars Borough is the one who still holds the torch the best. This second album release is a fun listen and illustrates sonically that high energy punk/rock still exists in Japan.
