Returning with their second full-length release, the Hiatus have released another stellar rock album. Still referring to the evolved sound of Ellegarden, the release contains a lot more experimentation than the first and even delves into slower, but more emotionally charged tones.
Since the break-up of Ellegarden , all e members have moved to different bands, but the Hiatus is the one that sounds most like the past. Though the album is moving into new territory, the songs contain a lot of energy and tracks from theist single are included.
It’s an impressive album, not even considering the history of how the band got together.
