Besides the interesting name, The Coin Rocker Boys’ Insert Coin is a mixture of punk and rock creating a high energy album. It is very reminiscent of later 1990s pop punk in the United States with fast tempos and melodic verses.

It’s nice to hear that Korea hasn’t all transferred to the more solemn tones that a lot more recent groups have decided to go to.

One of the standout tracks is “Thank You” besides being catchy, uses one of the older punk instrumentation styles of simple on beat guitar strumming creating an almost triplet tone.

Interested listeners of punk and rock will enjoy this album.
