Where The Story Ends – Self-Titled Review

As much as I like the Korean electro-jazz genre, I think I have grown out of it. Where The Story Ends’ send album is a bit too placid for me now with the other types of music that I now enjoy listening to. The mixture of electronica, jazz, and light pop mesh well, but I do feel like it’s a little to safe.

Not to say the album is boring, there are a lot of good tracks on the album. Unfortunately, it just doesn’t hold my interest like other Korean electro-pop bands or the genre overall. It does remind me of older Kpop styles because it doesn’t move past the recognizable format of light beats and melodies.
