While I first heard Drunken Tiger’s Feel gHood album first, I went back and found the older albums to compare that album to the older ones. Sky is the Limit was released in 2007, only a couple years prior to his 2009 album and there is a definite evolution in the music as this album is much more laid back in its presentation.

Following a much more recognizable rapping arrangement with beat, sample, and lyrics, the flow of Tiger JK is excellent, moving from beat to beat with a certain style. With Korean language, I wasn’t sure how well it would work following beats, but Drunken Tiger knows how to use beats along with the lyrics.

Drunken Tiger is an old staple of Korean rap and each album I listen to is among the greats of the genre.
