immi – Spiral Review

From the start, immi is very much a guilty please of Japanese pop/electro-pop. It’s different from the general type of Jpop because immi has a very good voice for the music that she sings. Spiral is an fourteen track album that uses her suitable voice over light techno and electronica pop to create upbeat and fast tempo songs.

Even when she is singing in what sounds like half time, none of the songs drag and it’s easy to conclude that her album is very much a dance club remix type of release. It’s not the most technically impressive album, but it does succeed in creating a tone of great, quick electro-pop songs.
