The Jetzejohnson – Solid Breaks Upper Review

The Jetzejohnson use the lighter side of the electronica genre to present songs that mix chiptune and electronica together to create a very mellow type of music. Part of the reason is that the main singer sings with a higher pitch for a male vocalist. Depending on the arrangement of the music, it’s actually easy to see other more aggressive genres being explored.

But Solid Breaks Upper is a much simpler electro-pop/electronica album that doesn’t really venture beyond the simple presentation that it has. If there was more experimentation, something the album could have used a little bit of, the variety of tracks would make for a stronger album.
