남녀공학 (Co-Ed School) – Something That is Cheerful and Fresh Review

When it comes to Kpop idol groups, usually it is a group of males or females. In this case, Co-Ed School is the first large scale mixed gender idol group.

With six boys and four girls, ending with ten members, the pop-saturated songs of the group, which only consist of two singles and one ballad, does show some promise – if they can find out what to do with all the male members.

That is the biggest weakness with the group, the males do not have the same presence as the females. It has become apparent through watching the lives of the group that specific members are focused upon and sing a majority of the songs.

The pop is interesting enough and the songs are a change from the sex-charged standards of other groups, but they still haven’t shown that they have the staying power of previous groups yet. They need to change their presentation to become more interesting and find a role for each member.
