Counter Reset – Rabbit Mask Review

Of all the genres of music, the one that I can’t stand who add unnecessary effects to their music that can’t be reproduced during live shows. Counter Reset thankfully do none of that and just present straight forward pop punk from Korea and sung in English.

Rabbit Mask is from 2007 which appeared to be a standout year for the breakout of Korean punk. The album is exactly what the genre calls for, good tempos and melodic singing that doesn’t add unnecessary fills.

Even though the songs on the album have that issue of sounding a bit repetitive, there is enough in the performance to show off the different skills of the members.

With three years since the release, I’m curious if the band has done anything since.
