Glittering Blackness, Fall – Untitled Review

Japan has always produced some of the most interesting instrumental rock music While Korea has a good amount of bands that are showing their abilities for math-rock and instrumental genres, Japan still has a bit of a curve ahead. But Glittering Blackness, Fall have shown that Korea is quickly catching up.

Glittering Blackness, Fall’s Untitled EP has five tracks, all of which flow into one another creating one single landscape of music. While the name of the band brings imagery of a much more aggressive style, the EP is much more about ambience rather than pumping huge amounts of noise out.

Retaining a lot of the conceived portions of math-rock, the group has a precise measure of playing, always meeting each other at the important parts.

Untitled EP is another good instrumental album, a worthy addition to the genre.
