I think I might be missing something, but I really didn’t take to 안녕바다’s City Complex. It’s an interesting album, mixing what sounds like live style synth with indie rock, the feeling of the music just didn’t sit well. I though the songs were well constructed, but it sounds a bit too commercialized.

The different styles that songs use is interesting, but again it just doesn’t work overall. I think the band is talented, but they don’t show enough for me to really get into them.

On each of the twelve tracks, I just felt like there were things missing from the songs and it didn’t flow well together. I will have to come back to it and try again later.
