Bluedawn – Submarine Sickness + Waveless Review

There’s a certain perfection that was attained by the duo that was Bluedawn. Released in 2005, the album has some of the best Korean indie songs that I have ever heard.

The EP is actually two separate styles in one presentation. The first are more simple acoustic/vocal tracks while the second part featured more synth and experimentation.

In it’s most simplistic ways, it showed how the voices of Bluedawn were drifting into different genres. 한희정 moved into acoustic guitar and The Invisible Fish moved to instrumental electronica and synth.

Though even with the differences in style, the EP is still an impressive display of mid 2000s indie. It really showed that there was an impressive movement happening.
