5Dolls – Charming Five Dolls Review

A smart idea of splitting Co-Ed School into two subgroups, the first being the female subgroup with one new member, 5Dolls have released a mini-album that presents more the standard Kpop rather than the darker, sex-infused concepts of other groups.

The songs are catchy like they should be, but they also feel a little lacking in polish because each songs is too similar to the next. es

The 4/4 time signature is present in each song and even bringing different backing track styles, the mini-album doesn’t stand up well against other bands.

While the trend right now has moved away from the darker style for now, this album doesn’t stand out and just sounds like another regular release using the same five member equation.
