Cosmos – Standard Review

Cosmos might be one of the oldest Korean indie bands that I’ve listened to. It is a little difficult to find early Korean indie to listen to, my earliest before Cosmos might be 2002 or so.

I was surprised to hear a lot of familiar elements in their music. It’s indie rock highlighted with keyboards adding a softer tone to the music.

Even though the music is a bit simple, I can see how Cosmos would have influenced bands that followed and showed a path to how Korean indie and Korean rock moved through the time.

Standard is a good title for the album because it does show the standard to the genre that they are a part of.
