Coming back and listening to immi after such a while is like a strange welcome home for Japanese electronica and electro-pop. Switch, released in 2008, has all the right ingredients for the genre. It’s dance floor friendly and some really good upbeat background music.

It’s hard not to like the music unless the genre isn’t one that a listener likes, but otherwise the gentle female vocals over the instrumentals are perfect. Even though immi isn’t always something I listen to, coming back reminds me of how much I like the music.
