Pony – Volume 1 Review

I found Pony in 2010, but Volume 1 is from 2009. A straight rock album, Pony venture into the genre that has been a bit forgotten. While other bands maximize their presence with layered music, the band presents rock music on the most basic level: just being upbeat and fun.

The melodic vocals help push their abilities of presenting their music. It’s a very energetic album, not stalling for an unnecessary break for any reason. I think it would have been one of my favorites of 2009 had I found it then.

Over the twelve tracks, listeners will find some great songs that are perfect for driving or just nodding your head along to the beats.
