The Brilliant Green – Self-Titled Review

When talking about The Brilliant Green, listeners have to realize that the band has been around for a long time, and this album was released in 1998. Their rock style is very reminiscent of Western indie rock and they have a great full sound.

Their music fits well with current indie rock in the United States even with the age of the album. The female fronted vocals add a layer of lightness to the music.

The ten song album is a Japanese rock classic and with the band still alive in 2011, it’s good to see that they haven’t left, even with members departing and solo activities taking much of the mid-2000s.
