Verbal – Visionair Review

I’m a big fan of M-flo, having listened to all of their albums. Since they have been a little vacant, I was surprised to find that vocalist Verbal had a solo album. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but after seeing the guests, I had a lot of expectations.

Visionair is an incredibly well produced record. Verbal has always had a lot of talent and abilities and his solo album shows off his versatility. With guests like Namie Amuri and Shunya from Japan, it also has American guests like Drake and Nicki Minaj.

The mixture through the fifteen tracks is stellar, including club beats over Verbal’s vocals and more hip-hop songs crafted with the American guests. There’s a lot of diversity in the songs even though they sit in one genre, and it rivals almost any other rap album that I’ve listened to this year.

It is amazing.
