Originally, I passed on Clover because I thought it was Kpop. I only realized that it was a collaboration between three long-standing members of the Korean music scene.

Classic Over has a recognizable hip-hop style for the United States, even with the pop influence in the instrumentals. It’s a nice diversion from the other more pop-friendly hip-hop acts that have been permeating the Korean music industry and with the three members showing off their talents apart from what they have become known for, it’s a great mini-album.

The old school beats push each member’s strengths to the front and the release remains interesting from the beginning to the end. I would like to see what the trio can do with more time and experience together with a full-length.
