Deepgray – I’m Already Born Before Review

Another 2010 release, Deepgray’s I’m Already Born Before is another Korean indie EP containing six songs that have the makings of a great band. The EP itself is great, but there is a feeling that the band might be holding back a bit.

The music has a lot of hints of Nell in their presentation of the songs. Long choruses and an almost ballad vocal style of flowing instrumentals. It’s one of the better influenced releases that I’ve heard.

It sounds like there is also a slight post-rock influence overall even though “Bohemian,” which I feel is the weakest track is more indie rock.

I’m Already Born Before is a true sampler of the band, and hopefully a full-length can be more focused.
