Younha – Hitosu Sora no Shita Review

I always thought it was strange that Younha is a bit more successful in Japan than Korea. Though with her 2010 release, it’s easy to see that she knows how to adapt to the two different styles of music that she sings in each respective country.

Her Japanese album is much more indie pop. While it doesn’t directly sound like Jpop, there is a definite showcase of produced music, but backed by actual instruments rather than a backing track is different from even her most recent Korean release.

Her voice is much more melodic on Hitosu Sora no Shita and the tone of the album has a better feel than the Kpop she sits in Korea.

Honestly, if you want to really hear Younha’s talent, it’s easier with her Japanese releases than her Korean ones.
