Mono – Holy Ground: NYC Live Review

When it comes to epic instrumental sounds, there aren’t many bands that compare to Mono. Released in 2010, Holy Ground is Mono along with the Wordless Music Orchestra, expanding the sound of the band with the assistance of a classical tone.

The nine songs are even more amazing with the live recording with most of the songs breaking the ten minute mark.

It’s an amazing recording of the band because the addition of the orchestra changes the sound of the band and for the lack of a better term, much more “epic.”

It is an album that requires full attention, there isn’t any other way to listen; but it does pay off in the end.
