Plastic Girl in Closet – Toy Review

Japan can always bring surprises in each genre. Plastic Girl in Closet’s Toy is a strange album because it sounds like the best elements of indie and rock while formulating a different sound through the mastering of the album.

If there is one description for the album, it would have to be: calm. Even when the band speeds up the tempo, the tone and feeling of the music isn’t rushed.

It would be hard-pressed not to say that the 2010 album could have been in my top ten if I had heard it sooner.

The twelve tracks have the strongest mixing of any album I’ve heard to produce a specific sound, but it is incredible.
