SpecialThanks – Seven Lovers Review

Yet again, Japan brings another example of how pop punk/rock should still be performed. SpecialThanks’ Seven Lovers is a 2011 release, showcasing the continuing abilities of Japanese bands to create music for the genre like how it used to be in the United States.

The fourteen track album features a variety of songs, all of which stay in the genre; but utilize different methods like faster tempos or extended choruses. It’s a fun album to listen through because of the upbeat tone that each song has.

Seven Lovers is the perfect introduction album for any fan of the genre.
