Sprinkler – Dreamer Review

I wouldn’t want to say that Sprinkler’s Dreamer has a stereotypical sound, but in some ways it does remind me of my first impressions of Korean rock.

The first track, “보물섬으로의 항해,” has a very large OST style with long vocal verses over quicker instrumentals. It’s strange because most of the other songs on the album do not have this same style.

The thirteen tracks on the album feature other styles, even going into groove strong punk-ish on “놀자.” There are also rock ballad songs as well, and while I would think this varied style is a bit unorganized, it is the vocals that bind all the songs together.

It’s sad that the band only released this one album because it sounded like there was a lot of potential after the 2007 release.
