I’m a big fan of Japanese tribute albums because the work of the bands involved is often times very enjoyable. m-flo has been one of my favorite Japanese hip-hop groups for a while, each album building upon the last.
Stitch the Future and Past is another great tribute album performed by many recognizable artists who cover some of m-flo’s older songs. For the most part, the melodies are all recognizable, only small changes are made to the songs; but overall it’s still a fun album to listen through.
I do wish some of the popular singles were covered, to hear the differences through other artists. But the album overall is still great.
