엘 (Aile) – Emotion Review

I think I gave Aile’s Emotion about five or so tries to get into it. But each time I listened to it, I was distracted by the “OST” theme that seemed to cover every song.

The pop rock that Aile plays isn’t bad, but the songs on the album feel and sound overproduced and refined to the point where it sounds too perfect. It may be that the band is that good, but the lack of a “raw” type feel to the music created some disinterest.

With this type of production, the album just doesn’t have that much strength. I’m more curious to see what the band is capable live and not consider this a tell of what to expect.
