ミドリ (Midori) – Second Review

Returning a couple years later in 2007 with another full-length, Midori continued their approach to noise rock. The music is more focused than First, and has a lot more precision, even though it still sounds everywhere.

With nine tracks, there is a bit more of an addition with the piano than before. It adds a separate layer of melody to the music and an almost jazz quality to the music that was hinted at before.

Second is a bit more math-rock than First even though it might not sound like it. Essentially, Midori could be one part math-rock, one part punk, and one part noise; yet the music is still impressive.
