Jang Woo Hyuk – I am the Future Review

Only recently did I start learning about older Kpop groups from the 90s. Since my experience came from the middle to late 2000s, I was unfamiliar with a lot of them.

But many of these former idols are making comebacks and Jang Woo Hyuk is one of them. A member of HOT, he returns with an electro-pop mini-album.

I was introduced through a live of “Time is [L]over.” That song is catchy in a lot of the right ways, mixing pop and a strong electronica beat together. The arrangement of the song is different from current idols and groups, helping the song stick out.

The other songs on the mini-album follow a similar trend, but there isn’t the standard ballad track that seems necessary.

It’s a fun album to listen to and shows a possibility of a strong comeback.
