LiSA – Letters to U Review

LiSA’s Letters to U reminds me a lot of Josie and the Pussycats. I feel like the album is overly manufactured to sound like a pop rock album even though the tone of the music is much more pop than rock.

It’s a seven song mini-album that contains the soundtrack-ready expected songs. Her vocals are definitely of Japanese quality and remind me a lot of Scandal’s brand of rock music.

Listeners of Japanese pop rock will know exactly of the type of sound this album has, but for the unknown – it’s nothing impressive, but fun to listen to.
