凛として時雨 (Ling Tosite Sigure) – still a Sigure virgin? Review

I normally will not go through a discography of a band because if the sound remains the same, the reviews become too parallel.

Thankfully, Ling Tosite Sigure continue their evolution of their sound further in 2010′s still a Sigure virgin? The album still contains all the recognizable frenetic playing, dual vocals, and impressive arrangements; but it does sound a bit more focused in attack.

As just A moment added some post-rock influences, still a Sigure virgin? adds some synth and almost pop sound to some of the songs. It’s a welcome addition because it expands on the music which at its core is the same as Inspiration is DEAD.

It’s best to listen to the albums back to back because each one has a different tone that keeps getting better.
