I’m not sure if Ash is the same as The Ash which I reviewed a long while back, but Dream is a great album.

In the vein of straightforward rock, the highs and lows of Dream are mainly melodic. The vocals fit right along with the instrumentals and the album reminds me a lot of United States indie rock.

The tempos on Dream are a little slower, even when the music sounds like it’s fast and that is one of the best attributes of the album. It knows how to let the listener appreciate each beat and note.

Ash’s Dream is a great album that shouldn’t be missed.
